Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa L.) has been used traditionally for many years in Southeast Asia. Its support is thought to be because of the naturally present corosolic acid and ellagitannins. There is growing evidence for the nourishing properties of Banaba leaf for the glucose homeostasis system.
